    有關美國《海外帳戶稅收合規法案》

    有關美國《海外帳戶稅收合規法案》

    有關美國《海外帳戶稅收合規法案（Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act，簡稱FATCA）》，香港政府已於2014年5月9日公佈與美國已完成就FATCA訂立版本二的《跨政府協議》的具體磋商。香港已被包括在已與美國達成實質上的《跨政府協議》的國家或地區名單上。在協議下，所有註冊金融機構需向美國國稅局（Internal Revenue Service）登記成為《外國金融機構（Foreign Financial Institution，簡稱FFI）》，並有責任為所有與美國稅務居民相關的帳戶，包括個人、聯名及公司帳戶，向美國國稅局作出申報並代收預扣稅款，以及每年進行更新。FATCA將於2014年7月1日生效。有關FATCA條文內容,請瀏覽網頁http://www.irs.gov；補充資料亦已刊載於香港交易所網站http://www.hkex.com.hk。倘貴戶/貴公司帳戶股東皆非美國稅務居民身份，可無需理會此法案。倘貴戶/貴公司帳戶股東乃美國公民、綠咭持有人或其他美國稅務居民身份，請於2014年8月31日前與本公司聯絡，確認身份及作出相應安排。倘貴戶/貴公司帳戶股東的國民身份於開立帳戶後有所變更，成為美國稅務居民，請於2014年8月31日前通知本公司，否則本公司將根據 貴戶開戶文件內的國民身份及帳戶操作模式作出相應評估。如有需要，將與貴戶進行商討及澄清，以履行作為FFI的責任。倘若日後貴戶/貴公司帳戶股東的國民身份有所變更，成為美國稅務居民，亦請盡快通知本公司，確認身份及作出相應安排。如對FATCA有任何疑問，請與熟識美國稅法條例的專業人士商討。如有刻意瞞報，美國國稅局可向所有暪報客戶追討客戶資產的30%，作為懲罰性扣繳稅款，因此，務請貴戶正視此法案。如對以上內容有任何疑問，歡迎致電25266216與本公司聯絡。

    香港交易所推出領航星中央交易網關

    香港交易及結算所有限公司（香港交易所）今天（星期五）宣布領航星中央交易網關已順利推出並完成穩定期。領航星中央交易網關是一個讓交易所參與者將其買賣盤管理系統連接至香港交易所證券交易系統的全新中央聯通點。 領航星中央交易網關提供具成本效益之系統結構，免除交易所於交易所參與者辦公室配置網間連接器，並引入行業標準FIX*界面及執行報告等新服務。領航星中央交易網關亦減低時延及提高整體復原能力。 領航星中央交易網關與現時的開放式網間連接器將並行運作，令交易所參與者可分批逐步遷移。首批共有54名交易所參與者已遷移至中央交易網關上運作，稍後將有更多交易所參與者加入。 領航星中央交易網關是香港交易所領航星技術計劃革新技術的其中一環，有關技術計劃革新技術旨在改善香港交易所市場基礎設施，並提升香港作為主要國際金融中心地位。 香港交易所集團行政總裁李小加表示：「領航星中央交易網關的順利推出代表着我們領航星計劃又完成另一重要里程，我們感謝交易所參與者在推出過程中所作的努力及準備。」 李氏續說：「我們將繼續投資於技術，確保市場維持足夠的吸引力。」

3. In respect of the securities portion of the unclaimed trust assets, Our Company may (i) realize the saleable shares in the securities portion and deposit the proceeds into court, and (ii) be at liberty to deal with the unsaleable shares in the securities portion as Our Company sees fit, including the forfeiture thereof;

4. Upon Publication of this notice and mailing of this notice to call clients, Our Company is not required to send any Notice of Lodgement.

如果佳隆證券有限公司未能收到客戶指示提取資產或 SI 到其他服務提供商，其所持有的證劵有機會根據“受託人條例”向法院申請存放相關資產。屆時，客戶可能需要花費額外的時間和金錢向法院申請取回資產。

 GLS Securities Limited formally informs our clients that GLS Securities Limited will terminate all  securities trading services on 14 April this year.  Owing to the securities trading business competitive these days, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of GLS Securities Limited has decided to close our business. The following describes the service arrangements from 13 March to 14 April:

Starting from 13 March,  For clients with stock portfolios, you may place SI or ISI withdrawal instructions by filling our withdrawal form (Attached with this letter). GLS Securities Limited will waive our withdrawal fees collected by us and HKEX, but clients have to pay for the fees charged by the receiving brokers. If the client chooses scrip withdrawal,  our withdrawal fee and HKEX fees are payable by you . Your share certificate will be collected by you from our office.  Clients with cash at your own accounts need to fill out our cash withdrawal form (Attached with this Email)  to have your money deposited back to your bank account. 

For securities that are not withdrawn on 14 April, GLS Securities Limited will take the following actions:

If GLS Securities Limited fails to receive instructions from our customers to dispose of assets or SI to other service providers, it has the opportunity to apply for deposit of the relevant assets with the court in accordance with the "Trustee Ordinance". At that time, customers may need to spend extra time and money to apply to the court to get back the assets.
